McGraw-Hill Professional has an opportunity for a Senior Marketing Manager. This position is located in New York, NY.

The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing plans that drive sales for business books with major emphasis on building effective marketing programs to end users of professional business content. This role will design and implement marketing programs that drive revenue for business, build and implement online marketing initiatives, including social media activities to drive sales of MHP content, build product awareness through partnerships with key associations, maximize author platforms and create support materials for sales teams.

Essential Accountabilities:

Develop strong outreach to end users of professional business print and ebooks including: developing and implementing marketing plans, development of robust social media and online outreach, building strong database of end users, creation of marketing materials and other promotional pieces such as enewsletters, advertising, brochures, etc. to the end user of content.
Product Management: Work with editorial and creative on product positioning and launches. Create and execute marketing programs for key focus titles. Contribute to marketing and sales meetings and participate in new product launches. Attend reprint and first print meetings as needed to contribute to forecasts.
Responsible for keeping MH Business Social Media Channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and MH Business blog/website fresh with content that can include sample chapters, videos, articles, author materials, sales promotions and partner information.
Develop marketing partnerships to promote business print and ebooks with professional organizations, training programs for career and leadership development.
Trade Shows: Manage and attend professional conferences. Coordinate with convention staff and accounts to ensure a professional presence at industry specific conventions and conferences.


5+ years of experience in marketing adult consumer print and ebooks.
Business book marketing experience a plus.
Strong organization, analytic and verbal and written communication skills a must.
Strong social media and online skills a must.
Self-directed and detail oriented.
Excellent computer skills especially Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Some travel required.
Bachelor's degree
