Ingram Content Group (ICG) is currently recruiting for an Acquisitions Director to join Ingram Publisher Services (IPS), Logistics. This person will direct and lead the client acquisitions process for Third-Party Logistics clients and plays a key role with the Vice President/General Manager in acquiring large publisher clients $15M+. We are actively seeking someone with a proven track record in developing, directing and executing the targeting, outreach, financial modeling, proposal presentation and participates in contract negotiations with VP/GM. This role will manage all similar aspects with large publishers ($15M+) and manages contract negotiations. Additional responsibilities will be to maintain contacts and develop strong relationships within the publishing community, as well as, with other internal stakeholders engaged in Content Acquisition, Logistics Operations and Finance in order to reach Company goals and objectives. This role/position will be based in New York.

Essential Duties:
• Directs and leads the new client acquisitions process for Third-Party Logistics clients. Plays a key strategic role in concert with the VP/General Manager, IPS in acquisitions of largest new clients ($15 Million and over)
• Participates in the development of the IPS strategic plan and leads the implementation of approved plan
• Communicates to executive leadership team the “state of the industry” as it relates to the large publishers
• Evaluates current Logistics clients for profitability and determines the viability of continued business relationships
• Negotiates contract renewals
• Establishes goals and objectives with are aligned with the corporate and division goals
• Partners with IPS Operations, Client Management, and Ingram Finance to determine distribution goals for Logistics clients.

Minimum Education and Experience required:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 7 years of book distribution experience (client acquisitions or client management) or related publishing experience
• 3 years negotiation and contract review experience
• 3 years experience with financial spreadsheets and profit/loss statements
• 3 years Project Management experience
