RedNova Learning Inc., part of the Macmillan Publishing Group, continues to grow. We are looking for a motivated Development Editor to join our English Language Teaching (ELT) team in Palmetto Bay, near Miami, FL, working on titles for Young Adult (YA) markets.

The role of the Development Editor is to assist in commissioning and developing materials (print and digital) to meet the needs of a demanding publishing program, ensuring content is market appropriate, liaising closely with the Commissioning Editor and the rest of the project team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent team-working and organizational skills, and be able to demonstrate:

EFL teaching experience, ideally in Latin America or East Asia, including at Young Adult level, and a recognized TEFL qualification
Demonstrable ELT publishing experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
An ability to work to tight deadlines
A basic knowledge of web publishing (HTML, CSS, XML, etc)
A basic understanding of content management systems
A knowledge of and an interest in Latin American or East Asian culture and education
Knowledge of a second language
