McGraw-Hill Professional has an exciting opportunity for a National Accounts Ebooks Sales Manager, based in our New York City, NY office.
The National Accounts Sales Manager is responsible for the sale of ebooks and overall account management for national accounts.
Call on national accounts daily/weekly/monthly/seasonally regarding new and existing products in an effort to maximize sales.
Regular follow-up with sales management which should include, reporting on sales goals, efficiencies and overall performance.
Set annual and monthly budgets for accounts.
Work with marketing to create coop and online promotions that drive sell-through.
Presentation at vendor sales meetings.
Quarterly/Seasonal/Annual account business reviews.
Backlist sales tracking and promotion creation.
Special Projects (backlist analysis, market share and marketplace research, account trends, metadata excellence and search proficiency, etc.)
5+ years sales or related publishing experience required.
Excellent organizational, verbal, presentation and written communication skills are needed to correspond with established accounts.
Creative ability to tailor recommendations based on client need and customize product to fit client need.
Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills.
Strong presentation and analytical skills.
Proficiency with Office Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Bookscan, etc.
Interest and experience with digital and ebook sales and trends.
