We are currently seeking an International Sales Director (f/m)

Your duties and responsibilities:

· Provide leadership and coordination to the TASCHEN sales teams worldwide
· Develop and implement sales strategies and targets
· Directly oversee selected major clients and distributors, as well as the management of all other accounts
· Explore new business opportunities for the company
· Analyze and evaluate sales performance and monitor costs
· Recommend and establish new processes to enhance operations
· Supervise the preparation of sales material and promotional programs
· Represent TASCHEN and promote positive relations with partners, vendors and distributors

Your profile:

· A background in publishing or high-end consumer goods
· 5-10 years in a senior sales position coordinating an international team
· Experience with negotiations, contracts and change management
· Outgoing, ambitious character with strong communication and motivational skills
· Open to a flexible work schedule and international travel
· Analytical mindset
· Excellent level of spoken and written English
· Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
· High awareness of TASCHEN’s profile and publications as well as an engaged interest in our program

Place of work:

The successful applicant will be required to work from one of our European offices in Berlin, Cologne, London or Paris.
