New Digital Comics Store to Launch This Summer

Sweet Shop, a new comics reading app for web and iOS, is slated to launch this summer. The app will partner with Image Comics to bring 400 of its bestselling, creator-owned titles to digital shelves.

Sweet's offerings will span popular ongoing series such as the Transformers, Spawn, Invincible, and The Walking Dead, as well as new titles like James Tynion and Michael Walsh’s Exquisite Corpses and Matthew Rosenberg and Stefano Landini’s We’re Taking Everyone Down With Us. Manga will also be available alongside the app's North American comics.

Sweet will allow users to read their library of comics on both Apple and Android devices, and will support vertical scrolling, right-to-left, and left-to-right reading functions.
