NetGalley Reorganizes Ahead of Product Launch

NetGalley has realigned its upper management ranks ahead of a the rollout of Booktrovert, its forthcoming consumer marketing platform.

The reorganization was led by NetGalley CEO Angela Bole and newly appointed NetGalley president Lindsey Lochner. The objective of the changes, which were put in place March 1, is to better align job titles and responsibilities as the Booktrovert launch moves forward later this quarter. The reorganization, which did not include layoffs, establishes four departments led by a set of VPs reporting directly to Lochner:

  • Business growth and engagement for U.S. and international, led by SVP Kristina Radke, who also also assumes new responsibility for NetGalley’s promotional team under the reorganization
  • Community growth and engagement, led by VP Tarah Theoret
  • Product management, led by VP Mary Pratt
  • Engineering, led by VP Darren Shifflett

In addition, Darcy Piedmonte has been promoted to director of customer acquisition and success, reporting to Radke.

Booktrovert is a standalone consumer website which will allow publishers, authors, and PR firms to create book giveaways and other marketing campaigns using an interface built within the NetGalley.com platform.
