PRH Inks License Agreements with Disney
Penguin Random House has inked new license agreements with Disney. These agreements extend Disney’s existing relationship with PRH, which has had a licensed program with Disney for over two decades and has handled sales and distribution for Disney’s adult and children’s print books since 2023.
Under the new agreements, PRH will license content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, 20th Century Studios, and National Geographic, including children’s books, middle grade, young adult, and adult novels, manga, reference books, and more. The expanded licensing agreement has taken effect as of May 1, 2025.
“Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and 20th Century Fox properties are brimming with opportunities to reach young readers with entertaining content,” Christopher Angelilli, SVP and editor-in-chief of licensed publishing for Random House Children’s Books, said in a statement. “Additionally, we are beyond excited to work with National Geographic Kids and carry forward its commitment to educating the next generation about the wonders of our world.”
