Diversion Audio to Launch James Patterson Podcast

Diversion Audio has teamed up with James Patterson for his new podcast, Hungry Dogs. Launching on October 29, the podcast will feature conversations with leading voices from across a range of industries, including books, music, film, television, politics, and sports. Many interviews will focus on established and emerging authors, allowing Patterson the “opportunity to provide a platform to promote a wide variety of books,” per the publisher.

Hungry Dogs expands upon Patterson’s original Substack video series, whose title was inspired by his grandmother. The podcast will debut with interviews from Stacy Abrams, Matthew McConaughey, B.J. Novak, and Dolly Parton, among others. Episodes will be released weekly, with each dedicated to one guest.

“I’m always looking for different ways to tell stories, and to get people to actually pay attention to books. Podcasting presents a new way for me to do so,” Patterson said. “With Hungry Dogs, I’m lucky to have the chance to sit down with many successful people in several different industries (including my own) about what drives them. Because I really believe everyone has a story to tell.”

Diversion Audio will also work with its sales and marketing partner, Gemini XIII, to secure brand partnerships for Hungry Dogs
