2019 AJL Jewish Fiction Winners Announced

Mark Sarvas, the author of Memento Park (FSG) is this year's winner of the Association of Jewish Libraries (AJL)'s Jewish Fiction Award. The award includes a $1,000 cash prize and a trip to the AJL Annual Conference in Woodland Hills, Calif. from June 17-19. 

The AJL also recognized The Cloister by James Carroll (Doubleday/Nan Talese) and The Fourth Corner of the World by Scott Nadelson (Engine Books). The awards recognize books in English published in the U.S. with  "significant Jewish thematic content."
