Catharine Meyers Named Publisher at New Harbinger

Catharine Meyers has assumed the role of publisher at New Harbinger Publications. Meyers, who previously served as associate publisher, succeeds Matthew McKay, who cofounded New Harbinger in 1973 and has served as publisher since. McKay will stay on staff in a part-time capacity and serve on the Board of Directors.

Meyers started at New Harbinger in 1995 as a freelance copy editor. She then joined New Harbinger as a full-time acquisitions editor and went on to become acquisitions manager and v-p of development. She served as associate publisher prior to assuming her new role as publisher. Over her 25-year tenure, Meyers has acquired such notable titles as The DBT Skills WorkbookACT Made SimpleEating Mindfully, and the New York Times bestseller The Untethered Soul.
