2022 PEN America World Voices Festival Returns In Person

The 2022 PEN America World Voices Festival will return in-person, with events happening in NYC and Los Angeles from May 11–14. The festival will also feature some virtual events. Programming includes talks, panels, readings, and performances from more than 70 writers. 

This year's festival was spearheaded by a curatorial committee chaired by PEN America senior director of literary programs Clarisse Rosaz Shariyf; poet and translator Eloisa Amezcua; editor of Freeman’s and executive editor of Literary Hub John Freeman; writer, curator, and journalist Devyani Saltzman; and founder and former curator of the award-winning ALOUD series at the Los Angeles Public Library Louise Steinman.
