Amanda Gorman, Bookshop.org, PYR Launch Book Donation Drive

Bookshop.org, Penguin Young Readers, and presidential inaugural poet Amanda Gorman have partnered up on an initiative to donate copies of Gorman’s books nationwide in honor of National Poetry Month. Through the book drive, customers can donate copies of Amanda Gorman’s books The Hill We Climb, Change Sings and Call Us What We Carry to schools and community organizations across the country. Bookshop.org’s network of independent booksellers have identified local organizations such as schools, libraries, and book banks to benefit from receiving donated copies, with booksellers also receiving 30% of the retail price. To donate copies, visit bookshop.org/amandagorman. The initiative will run through May 13.
