ABA Postpones Annual Meeting and Town Hall

Less than 24 hours before its scheduled annual meeting and town hall, a virtual event on Zoom that was set to take place on May 26 at 2:00 pm. ET, the American Booksellers Association announced that it is postponing it to July 14 at the same time, the day after its virtual Children’s Institute. ABA communications director Ray Daniels informed PW in an email that CEO Allison Hill "had an accident and is currently out; the board wanted to reschedule so that she can still participate." Those who already registered for today’s meeting do not have to register again for the new date. Daniels has assured PW that Hill is "feeling better each day."
