Callie Garnett Named Editorial Director at Bloomsbury

Callie Garnett has been promoted to editorial director at Bloomsbury, effective immediately. She will replace former editorial director Jonathan Lee, who departed from Bloomsbury on May 6 to focus on developing projects for television, including adaptations of his novel High Dive

Garnett joined Bloomsbury in 2014 as editorial intern. In 2016 she was promoted to assistant editor and to editor in 2019. Her recent publishing highlights include Winifred Rember's Pulitzer Prize-winning memoir Chasing Me to My Grave and the New York Times bestselling novel Outlawed by Anna North. She is also the author of the 2021 poetry collection Wings in Time

Garnett will report to Nancy S. Miller, publishing director of adult trade.
