McClelland & Stewart Gets a New Publisher

Stephanie Sinclair has been appointed to the the role of publisher of McClelland & Stewart and Hazlitt and v-p of Penguin Random House Canada. Sinclair has been working as a literary agent at CookeMcDermid Literary Management. She identifies as Cree, Ojibwe, and German/Jewish settler. 

Sinclair is taking over from Jared Bland, who will step down after six years as publisher of M&S and will be staying with the company in the new role of v-p of communications and community. Concurrent with the change, Beth Lockley, has been named v-p of marketing, overseeing the marketing and publicity team.
