Atria Scraps 'It Ends with Us' Coloring Book

Atria has canceled the publication of a coloring book based on Colleen Hoover's novel It Ends with Us. The move comes in response to a wave of controversy and criticism that the coloring book, slated for April 4, trivialized the novel's subject matter, which is domestic violence.

In a statement, Atria announced that it would no longer be moving forward with the coloring book. Atria said it had "developed this book to be uplifting and empowering," but was taking into account responses from readers. "We appreciate the feedback and discourse and have the greatest respect for Colleen Hoover fans."
