LYBR Pulls Picture Book Over Illustrator's Criminal Charges

Little, Brown Books for Young Readers has canceled the publication of the forthcoming picture book A Song for Juneteenth upon learning that the book's illustrator, David Anthony Geary, has been charged with felony criminal sexual assault. The decision not to move forward with the book was made mutually between LBYR and the book's author Zetta Elliot.
