William Morrow Acquires Debut Novel by 'Stranger Things' Star

William Morrow, an imprint of HarperCollins, has acquired U.S. and Canadian rights to publish Nineteen Steps, the debut novel from Stranger Things actor Millie Bobby Brown. The work of historical fiction, set during World War II and inspired by the Bethnal Green Tube Disaster, will be published on September 12.

Liz Stein, executive editor at William Morrow, negotiated the deal with Alyssa Reuben at William Morris Endeavor. U.K. and Commonwealth rights have also been acquired by Katie Seaman, senior commissioning editor at HQ, from Matilda Forbes Watson at WME.
