Carisa Hays Launches Eponymous Literary PR Firm

Following her departure from Penguin Random House in April, longtime publicity director Carisa Hays—who has held roles at Crown, Free Press, Dell, Putnam, and elsewhere—has announced the launch of Carisa Hays Public Relations, a literary PR firm offering services to authors, publishers, and nonprofit organizations. 

"I would like to thank the many authors, publishers, booksellers, and journalists who have encouraged me to take this next step in my publishing career," said Hays in a statement. "I look forward to working with authors to help them share their stories and ideas with readers everywhere.”
