Brooklyn Book Festival Announces 2023 Lineup

The Brooklyn Book Festival has announced the full roster of events, both in-person and virtual, for its 2023 edition, to be held September 24–October 2 in Brooklyn and across New York.

The festivals Bookend Events will take place over the course of the festival's 9-day span; a Virtual Festival Day will be held on Sunday, eptember 24; Children’s Day will be held on Saturday, September 30 at Brooklyn Commons in Downtown Brooklyn; and the festival's flagship Festival Day will be held on Sunday, October 1, in and around Downtown Brooklyn’s Borough Hall. The Literary Marketplace will be held on the last two days of the festival.

This year's participants include Hilton Als, Jamel Brinkley, Nicole Chung, Roxane Gay, Ibram X. Kendi, Karl Ove Knausgård, Walter Mosley, Joyce Carol Oates, Emma Straub, Jeff VanderMeer, Colson Whitehead, and Jacqueline Woodson.
