Former RH Sales Rep Helen Dressner Dies at 91

Helen Dressner, former sales rep for Random House, died on October 25 of a stroke. She was 91.

Dressner joined Random House as a marketing associate in 1977 and held various sales and marketing positions over the course of her tenure. For most of her career, she served as a national accounts sales manager and was named Sales Rep of the Year by Barnes & Noble.

Dressner retired from Random House in 2003.

“I had the honor of working with Helen for many years, and was always in awe of what a great salesperson she was," said Kim Hovey, senior v-p and deputy publisher of Ballantine Bantam Dell, in a statement. "Smart, savvy, and always loved to read, discuss, and champion our books. An amazing colleague and friend.”
