NYC Public Libraries Launch 'Giving Tuesday' Match Challenge

The New York Public Library, Brooklyn Public Library, and Queens Public Library will match all donations ahead of Giving Tuesday on November 28. The campaign comes in the wake of severe budget cuts announced last week.

NYPL has set a goal of $150,000, with all donations matched by an anonymous donor. BPL has set a goal of $50,000, with all donations matched by a group of Library Trustees. And the Queens Public Library has set a goal of $20,000, with all donations matched by Resorts World New York City. All donations are tax-deductable.
