Kobo Welcomes Tesco Readers

As of today, Kobo has begun moving thousands of customers on Tesco's soon-to-be-shuttered digital reading platform Blinkbox Books to its e-reading service.

U.K. retailer Tesco will close its Blinkbox Books store on February 28, after which time it will no longer provide support for the titles customers have purchased since the launch of its e-reading platform.

Blinkbox will be sending its customers an email on February 20 with a unique code and instructions on how to easily transfer their libraries to Kobo, which will allow access to books previously purchased on Blinkbox, as well as new Kobo purchases.
