While traditional favorites are well represented, there are many new treats: red-zinger granite ice cream, espresso ice cream, raisin-chestnut ice cream, brownie ice cream sandwiches, mile-high strawberry pie and even deep-fried ice cream balls. Many of the recipes contain low-calorie variations, but there's no skimping on the nine rich sauces offered. And although the instructions are written specifically for a Donvier Ice Cream Maker, there's nothing to prevent the reader from using these delectable recipes in other ice cream makers. (June)
