At the start of Lynn's charming third Shady Grove mystery (after 2007's Jacob's Ladder
), series heroine Rose Franklin, who's temporarily in charge of the West Memphis, Ark., campground, takes in Chariot Stevens, a young woman who has fled her South Dakota home, where she witnessed the murder of her boyfriend, Jason Holmes.
