Rabbit Inn

Bunnies Pandora and Bob Lapinandro are the proud proprietors of an old and homey inn. When Pandora learns that some special visitors are on their way, she insists that the ``dusty musty corners'' and ``viney twiney yard'' be tended to at once. The list of chores grows quickly (an ever-lengthening scroll threatens to engulf the premises), and Bob must recruit the help of the inn's other guests. The chickens, squirrels, pigs, mice and cats all pitch in to buff, puff, polish, paint, till, weed and clean--wondering all the while just who might be arriving. Four weeks later--and just in time--the place is shipshape, as new parents Pandora and Bob present a mob of tiny rabbits. Brewster's ( Bear and Mrs. Duck ; Don't Touch My Room ) airy watercolors are packed with delicate, amusing details; the inn's furnishings are worthy of Laura Ashley.
