Spook Sme Body a Mini: 6

This quartet of Mini Spooky Pop-Ups scores disappointingly low on the chill-o-meter. Good things do not always come in small packages, it seems, as Everitt-Stewart's dark, atmospheric artwork would surely pack more punch at full size. The brief texts here are a high point, providing drama and an occasional spine tingle. The intricate, cobwebby spreads feature sometimes minuscule and none-too-sturdy flaps and pull-taps. Ages 6-9.
