Baby's Day

Initiating Colorforms Board Books, Hoffman invites small children to play a learning game, using the removable stickers included. Inside this book, a note to parents gives the simple directions for showing little ones how to press out the stickers and apply them where indicated. Hudson's brightly colored pictures depict Baby at times during the day, when boys and girls can ""help'' him by putting his bear in his hand, a blank outline identified by the word ``bear.'' Then they can set his cup on the table, bring his dog to sit by his high chair, see that baby's bib is secure, etc. There are places in the bathroom for his boat, duck and soap. When he's ready for a nap, children give him his doll and bottle, rounding out the morning of fun and learning. (37)
