A baby and his toddler sister are the stars of these four board books in the My Sister and Me series. Each title consists of five spreads that reveal the siblings engaged in familiar pastimes: ``We eat breakfast''; ``We play ball''; ``We bounce and jump''; ``We build sandcastles.'' The duo's level of participation in each activity is delightfully age-appropriate. For example, as the older child stacks blocks to make a tower, baby brother prepares to pull out one of the crucial bottom blocks; the little fellow takes a tumble backward as he tries in vain to catch a ball kicked by his amiable sister. Well-matched by her characteristic bursts of color, Dickens's splashes of humor will make even the youngest readers chuckle: the baby wears a bucket on his head as the two ride in an inflatable boat; playing artist, sister applies paint not to paper, but to her obliging brother's cheeks and nose.
