Mathilda the Dream Bear slips through the keyhole into the room where a dog, two cats, two fish and a bird are snoozing. She tiptoes over to each sleeping animal and, with a wave of her wand, gives them spectacular dreams. The dog dreams of a magnificent banquet, while the cats star in a ballet and the fish play in a shipwreck at the bottom of the sea.
