Bigger Better Burgers

With the exception of a six-page chapter on ""Colossal Burgers,'' this book doesn't actually live up to its name, but no matter. Burgers are the quintessential American meal, and what is more American than the ``Bigger Better'' tag? It is native bravadonot meant to be taken literallyand it results in a cheery tour of burgerdom. This includes many architectural and ethnic variations: Coney Burgers (concealing half a hot dog), Florentine-Stuffed Burgers, Maui Burgers with macadamia nuts, Mideast Burgers served in pita with tahini, and on and on, plus standard side dishes.
