The comfy, Victorian-style house of 12 bunnies is the place to be for those who translate “bedtime” very loosely. Though it’s “nearly bedtime” at the open of this seek-and-find outing, first published in Australia, the bouncy bunnies still have plenty of time for adventure. They prepare and eat a snack in the kitchen and dining room, perform a concert in the living room, romp in the playroom, race around the garden, and explore the attic—all before settling into their bedtime routine. In each spread, mother-daughter authors Stills and Stills-Blott list 12 objects pictured in the art (“In the playroom there are 5 teddy bears, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 1 duck, and a giraffe with the stuffing coming out”) and note that one bunny, Sophia, is searching for something she has lost (“Sophia rummages among the toys”).
