Fox’s second Burned erotic contemporary (after Burned Deep) combines pulse-pounding danger and passionate love. Ari DeMille, an event planner, and Dane Bax, a billionaire hotelier, are so close to seeing their dream of running a private hotel realized when disaster strikes. The tragedy—believed to be the work of a vindictive secret society that Dane was born into—rocks Ari’s life to its very core. Few know that Ari and Dane were quietly married, and that’s not the only secret that’s being kept. These secrets could cost Ari’s and Dane’s lives and the lives of those who love them, including Dane’s ex and Ari’s father. Though this tale can mostly be enjoyed as a standalone, it ends on a cliffhanger, which undoubtedly will annoy some readers.
