Eve Langlais, Kate Douglas, and A.C. Arthur. St. Martin's Griffin, $15.99 Trade Paperback (608p) ISBN 978-1-250-07858-2

In this trio of erotically-charged paranormal romances, single werewolves discover the mates of their dreams. In Langlais' (Toxic) "Legal Wolf's Mate," lupine lawyer Gavin agrees to defend sexy secretary Megan, who's been framed for murder. However, their working relationship takes a turn for the sensual when they accept their mutual desire. Langlais mixes humor and clever twists to craft a memorably entertaining tale. In Douglas'(Redemption) "Feral Passions," plus-sized Cherry visits a luxury resort where she undergoes a sheets-sizzling sexual awakening while enjoying the attentions of two men who can't get enough of each other, or her. For sheer sexiness, this one takes the lead. In Arthur's (Revealed) "The Alpha's Woman," alpha wolf Kira refuses to let anyone else dictate her destiny; that is, until she runs afoul of the unyielding Blaez, a pack leader determined to claim her all for himself. However, the plot is overshadowed by the erotic emphasis. With varying degrees of steaminess but a consistent happily ever after, this collection satisfies more than not. The latter two stories were previously released in September in ebook as Claimed by the Mate, Vol 1. (Jan.)
