She’s just managed to score a scoop that could be her big break when she learns that her former flame, the suave Ryan Jansson, has joined her magazine’s features team. Ryan is just as charming, gorgeous, and competitive as she remembers, and the office becomes a war zone as the pair bicker over articles and work habits and vie for the last word. A press trip to Italy puts the pair in close proximity, reigniting old sparks and making Harper question if she should take a second chance on love. Though slow to start, the pace picks up as the romance heats up. Ryan and Harper’s chemistry is undeniable and their constant competitions are exhilarating.
