Jill Shalvis. Grand Central/Forever, $8 mass market (352p) ISBN 978-1-4555-2949-0

Shalvis continues to chronicle the sex lives of the beautiful people of the Pacific Northwest's Lucky Harbor in this 11th installment (after It's in His Kiss). Boutique owner Olivia Bentley dives headlong into frigid ocean waters to rescue charter boat captain Cole Donovan, whom she thought was drowning. Turns out he was fine until Olivia landed smack on top of him. Even though she has plenty to hide, she's quite willing to show Cole her body, and they both get naked%E2%80%94to "warm up"%E2%80%94once back aboard the boat. From there it's touch (pun intended) and go as Cole pursues the reserved brunette who values privacy over everything. In striving to disengage an ugly past from her present Lucky Harbor life, Olivia nearly drives off not just Cole but her family as well. Shalvis's Lucky Harbor fans will feel right at home, while newcomers might discover a new favorite. (Oct.)
