Spoiled Rotten: A Liz Walker Mystery

Jackman’s entertaining debut, centered on a cozy Toronto bistro, is sure to appeal to anyone interested in the restaurant business. Liz Walker, the busy proprietor of Walker’s Way, is relieved to have finally found an amazing chef, Daniel Chapin, who’s catapulting her restaurant into the foodie limelight. When Daniel doesn’t show up for work one morning and there’s no meat delivery, Liz assumes it’s just another crazy day on the job—until the meat distributor’s body turns up dismembered. With her missing chef suspected of murder, Liz decides to do a little detective work herself. Despite the best efforts of the head detective on the case to keep her off the trail, Liz persists in looking for Daniel, certain of his innocence. But could she become the real killer’s next victim?
