A Family Under the Christmas Tree

Reed captures the magic of the Christmas season as an artist and a techie must decide whether to open up their fragile hearts and take a chance at love. Photographer Sophie Griffith agreed to visit her grandmother’s home in Bellevue, Wash., after learning that her grandmother had fallen and hurt her ankle. Sophie suspects that her grandmother lured her there to set her up with a hunky new neighbor, David Murphy, an IT company owner who is the guardian for his young nephew, Troy. As Sophie spends time in David and Troy’s company, she learns to care for both of them, but she makes it clear that her career comes first and she will be leaving shortly after New Year’s. David is equally afraid of love, as he is still reeling from the deaths of his brother and sister-in-law. But the lure of their mutual attraction is very strong, and as much as David and Sophie fight it, neither can deny that the possibility of being together may be stronger than any of their carefully laid career plans.
