Clap, Sing, Dance!

The animal stars of the Frolic series express their joy in a variety of ways, tacitly encouraging readers to do the same. “Make a joyful noise!” write the authors as a sheep lets out a mighty “Baaa!” On the following pages, the animals dance, clap, and “jump for joy,” followed by a prayer of gratitude (“Dear God, Thank you for our bodies that can clap and wave and wiggle and dance”). A closing section provides an accompanying Bible verse and notes for parents about introducing faith into their children’s lives.
