Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star: A Collection of Bedtime Rhymes

Part of the My Little World series, this board book gathers 10 short nursery rhymes, each getting its own spread. Galloway’s crisp digital graphics give the book the pared-down feel of an app, as a brown owl dons a nightcap for “Star light, star bright” and a bear assumes the role of Wee Willie Winkie, running past a trio of pastel-colored houses in his blue striped nightgown. Other entries include favorites like “Row, row, row your boat” and “Rock-a-bye, baby,” and while this isn’t the most distinctive collection out there, in terms of either artwork or selections, it’s a fine introduction to some classic rhymes.
