The Secret of Hunter’s Bog

After a suspicious fire destroys the McNab family’s Organic Home Goods shop, Koichi McNab and his sister, Kimmy, reopen right next to handsome Will Hood, proprietor of Hood’s Luxury Outdoor Expeditions & Supplies in Duchene, Ala. Although Will moved to town searching for his former lover Anthony, who vanished two years earlier, sparks fly instantly between him and Koichi. Koichi’s colorful language and sexually explicit banter intrigue Will, who grew up “dyslexic, cripplingly shy, and home schooled,” while Koichi shocks his sister by agreeing to do a camping test run with Will in the supposedly haunted Hunter’s Bog. In addition to a taste of the supernatural, Blue (Myth Adventures) weaves in elements of mystery: Will longs to discover what caused Anthony’s disappearance, and Koichi delves into the significance of his grandmother’s stolen diary, jewels, and perfume bottle after thieves ransack his home. While intimacy develops quickly, competing obsessions cause distance between the lovers, until life-threatening situations help them clarify their own feelings in this light and playful romance.
