Romeo Explores the Garden

This vocabulary-building board book (an addition to the Let’s Explore series) features illustrations from the archives of French artist Grée. Romeo, an orange dog with emerald green eyes and a sizeable wardrobe, invites readers to explore a garden throughout the seasons. On each spread, the hound poses a question: “What has only one wheel and is used in the garden to move things around?” The answer—“a wheelbarrow”—is pictured on the next page. “As well as sunshine, what sort of weather do plants need in order to grow?” Romeo asks (“rain”).
