But as a dark crime wave befalls “the sleepy town of Trincaster,” the duo jumps to investigate the bombings of their school kitchen and the local chocolate factory. When the Super Twins uncover the villain’s identity, they must overcome personal emotions to save their town. Jake and Ryan’s strong bond imparts a gentle lesson of sibling love. While those familiar with the genre will recognize familiar tropes, and a few continuity hiccups interrupt the story, this duology opener is a fast-paced, witty escapade that young superhero fans will quickly devour.
