College senior Sydney Bell has adored Kyler Quinn since they were little kids, but she’s certain that “man-whore” playboy Kyler could never feel the same way about her: “We went together like a lion and a gimpy gazelle.” Little does she know that Kyler shares her feelings. A plan for a pre-Christmas gathering of college friends at Kyler’s mom’s ski house in the mountains becomes a provocative situation when Kyler and Sydney wind up stranded alone at the house in the middle of a week-long blizzard. To make things worse, someone begins attacking them and sabotaging the house. Sydney and Kyler are one-dimensional characters, and the predictable plot offers few surprises, but this story should satisfy readers who crave steamy lust with a happy ending. (Nov.)
