Hello Honey Bear

Preschoolers will quickly make friends with the three outgoing animals introduced in these board books that launch the Furry Pals series. The importance of friends is the common theme of the cheerful threesome--starring Honey Bear, who gives each flower he has picked for his mother to a different friend; Ginger Kitten, who brings a special present to her playmate; and Fluffy Bunny, who finds a new chum while searching for buried treasure. Kangas's chipper, warmly colored pictures fill each 10-page volume. The fact that these smiling characters are a bit too precious won't deter little listeners at all. They'll be especially taken by the series' format: each volume is die-cut in the shape of the animal featured on the front cover, which is free of the title and the author's name (these appear on the back cover).
