101 Kids Activities That Are the Ooey, Gooey-est Ever! Nonstop Fun with DIY Slimes, Doughs, and Moldables
Jamie Harrington, Brittanie Pyper, and Holly Homer. Page Street, $21.99 paper (192p) ISBN 978-1-62414-661-9
This activity book features dozens of recipes for slimes, doughs, foams, muds, and other messy concoctions. For each recipe, the authors include a list of readily available household ingredients (staples include food coloring, glue, glitter, baking soda, and soap) and equipment needed to create each one (often only a bowl and spoon). Gross-out names—“unicorn snot,” “frog’s vomit slime,” and “ectoplasm”—are an instant draw. Bright photos feature kids handling the colorful, oozy creations, some of which are edible (and many others, decidedly not). This volume offers readers more than enough goo to keep their hands full. Ages 6–up. [em](Dec.)
