Diary of a Fairy Princess

Colby takes readers on a wild ride with his stand-alone third Deviant Magic fantasy (after Shotgun). When Myrindi XVII, Crown Princess of Talvayne, turns 16, the king will marry her off to the highest bidder, after which, she’ll be expected to provide a daughter. Talvayne must always have a crown princess in order to maintain the spell that keeps a disease called the Rot from overtaking the kingdom. Unfortunately, Talvayne’s queens are cursed to die in childbirth, and Myrindi will be no different. But the snarky, foul-mouthed princess refuses to let anyone push her around, much less her father. She does everything she can to fight against her fate, but Sorrin, her intended fiancé, refuses to take no for an answer. When he attempts a coup, Myrindi is forced into hiding, protected by a group of mercenaries hired by her best friend, Rayn the Witch. Together, they must take the kingdom back from Sorrin and find a way to keep the Rot at bay without sacrificing Myrindi’s life. This over-the-top adventure is irreverent, pacy, and not to be taken too seriously. Fans of humorous fantasy will find plenty to enjoy. [em](Aug.) [/em]
