Don’t be fooled by the title—this board book celebrates vehicles, not the beatnik life. The graduated pages are die-cut into the shapes of seven vehicles, including a motorcycle, police car, and bus; lined up, they look like they’re waiting for the same red light to change. As readers flip the pages, Deny identifies each vehicle while providing accompanying sounds and details. “Everybody in! There’s room for the whole family in a minivan,” she writes as five pigs zip along, one making faces at readers from the back row.
