Repurposing Hurd's original illustrations, this abecedarian adaptation pairs letters of the alphabet (and corresponding words) with objects and elements from the "great green room," including kittens, paintings, and a red balloon. The myriad objects and Hurd's ever-striking orange and green palette lend themselves well to the ABC format.
